Is it true that if you self-injure...?

You can die early from all the stress you are putting on your body?

It will have an effect on your offspring if you ever decide to become pregnant?

It will cause other heath issues?

    You can die from blood infection, or cut deeper than you intended and hit a major vessel (bloody mess) or a tendon (tons of pain and loss of function in the limb).

    And you will have a scar for the rest of your life that will remind you (and others) of what you will come to view as a childish mistake.

    But no long-term health risks.
