Good, cheap Les Paul Junior knockoff?
I want a guitar i can mod (and possibly kill by accident) without feeling bad, so i would like a really cheap les paul junior knockoff (i live in Canada, so before you answer make sure i can get it here). I would like it to be.... oh, say under $200. It doesn't have to be great, but it shouldn't kill me to play. Thanks in advance!

Go for the maestro les paul shape by gibson. Just search maestro guitars. you can get a blue burst with a little amp for like 150. it was my first guitar. You can buy them at best buy too.

Two places i like to go to buy guitars would be musiciansfriend.com and music123.com. The only thing is that if u want it under 200 bucks, that's gonna be hard to get, maybe even impossible. But if you want a cheap knockoff of a Gibson, the way to go would be Epiphones. They all come with horrible, loose hardware, so you'll normally need to give it a setup and some new tuners and strings. It's worth getting a Gibson though. At musiciansfriend.com theres a cheap les paul gibson (only 799) which is the studio version. But if you want to get an Epiphone I suggest finding one in a store near you. Because pick the wrong one online and it will probably break to pieces right in your hand!
hope this helps

PS: If you also want a flying V, lookup the brand 'Jackson'.
