Peacock bass and florida laws?
if i catch a baby peacock bass and keep it for a while and put it back in another pond from where i caught it that has ideal conditions for peacock bass and also i was told it is illegal to relocate peacock bass of the spot like catch them put them somewhere then drive them to a new location but also if i own a peacock can i put it in a pond

No, you cannot transfer a peacock bass from one body of water to another, whether that body of water is an aquarium, a pond, or a river.

You are not allowed to do this by Florida law. But I have had many friends that have caught baby peacocks in a cast nets and but them in tanks and raised them to decent sizes and released them.
