# homework help (pretty easy) grade 7?

what is median of the following numbers 20,30,50,20

i cant remember what it is lol

Relevance

medians are simple. Just remember that median numbers are the MIDDLE NUMBERs in a set.

In this case we only have four numbers.

(In order) 20 20 30 50

There isn't exactly a middle number...

So we take the two numbers that make up the middle portion of the set (in order) and add them together; divide them by two to get the median.

20+30=50/2 = 25 (median)

Put the numbers in order from least to greatest...

20, 20, 30, 50

Now find the middle number...

There is no "middle" number, so take the two middle numbers...

20 and 30, now find the middle of them...

Hope I helped!

put them from lowest to highest

20-20-30-50.. there's no midle so:

find the number in the middle of 20 and 30

20+30=50 50/2 = 25

lol how can 3 people make a mistake in something easy like this

the median is 25

ie., (20+30)/2

Put them in order (least to greatest)

find the middle.

If there's no middle... get the two closest to the middle... add them together and divide them by 2.

so. 20 20 30 50

So the two in the middle added together =50

50 divided by 2 = 25

I hope this helps you!

40

Median is the middle number..

there is no middle number there.
