Can potato salad cause acid reflux?

I ate some potato salad for lunch and I have suffered from Acid Reflux disease for awhile. After I ate it all of a sudden I threw up in my mouth, and got a bad burning sensation in my throat. Ever since when I burp I taste the potato salad, and I am going to a concert tonight so I was wondering if it means I just had a little reflux from the PS or if it actually made me sick.

thanks!
