Simplify (a^-1/19b^1/2)^8(a^-1/2b^9/11))^22 using the prop. of rational exponent?

Can anyone please explain this to me, I just don't get it.

Update:

crap at the end is suppose to be ^22

it got cut off for some reason

    Go here to learn how to simplify rational expressions with exponents:

    The reason why the ^22 was cut off was because you didn't put any spaces in your expression. Yahoo Answers will truncate long blocks of text that don't have spaces. This prevents people from just typing in a long line of gibberish that would take up the entire page. There's no need to cram everything into the subject line, you know.
