They are right about Nextel, but there is more to it also. There are actually TWO Boost mobiles. The other poster told you about the iden/walkie talkie one. The other Boost is called cdma . No sim and no walkie talkie. Exact same technology that Verizon and Sprint use. Boost cdma runs on Sprint. After you activate with a Boost cdma phone, you can actually put a regular Sprint phone on it by swapping out your numbers including really cool ones like Touch Diamond Pro, etc. And you DON'T need to Flash to be able to do that. There's no point in flashing Sprint phones, because they fit on Boost cdma anyway and Sprint/Boost won't allow any non Sprint/Boost phones on the network anyway. No Verizon, Metro, Etc. Flashed or not.

To get Unlimited by Boost cdma which also has an unlimited $50 Nationwide plan , call 1-877-TLK-MORE for details.

Use an old Boost cdma phone and put it on, then transfer a Sprint phone onto it later. They will not let you activate with a Sprint phone the first time.

Boost Mobile phones work with a network called IDEN, which uses sim cards. However A T&T and T-Mobile also uses sim cards but uses a different network called GSM. So any A T&T or T-Mobile phones won't work on Boost Mobile.

The only phones that will work with Boost Mobile would be Nextel, since Boost Mobile works off the Nextel Network as well since Nextel phones also have the walkie talkie.
