Im going to buy a gundam model but i was wondering What 1/144 or 1/100 means?

I am going to but a model set but i want a set that u have to build up from the small parts. Are all Gundam models builds? Does the scale affect it being a build-it-Yourself?

The fraction is the scale, or the ratio of the size of the model to the size of the "real thing"... 1 / 144 means that a model 1 foot long would be 144 feet long in real life, or a model 6 inches long would be 864 inches (or 72 feet).

The bigger the fraction the bigger the model... 1/144 is smaller than a model that is 1/35 scale.

I'm not as familiar with the Gundam stuff... but what you want to buy is a model kit.

    GOOD LUCK
