Who are the top 10 greatest QB's in NFL history?

1. Brett Favre

2. John Elway

3. Joe Montana

4. Warren Moon

5. Payton Manning

6. Tom Brady

7. Dan Marino

8. Joe Namath

9. Terry Bradshaw

10. Michael Vick

Update:

The reason why i have Favre over Montana is because he holds the record for yards and TD's. The reason Michael Vick is in is because you don't see a QB rush for over 1000 yards in a single season. Sure he may not be the best passer, but he is well-known for his moble skills!

Update 2:

...and Favre is stretching the records far out by continuing to play...

How can anyone in God's name have Brett Favre ahead of Montana? Montana was the best period, point blank, end of story. Everyone else is fighting for number 2. Montana torched Elway in a Super Bowl. Warren Moon was awesome, often forgotten about, but came up small in big games. Like blowing the biggest playoff lead of all time. Couple of things about Joe Namath. One, he never really predicted they would beat the Colts. Two, he is the only QB in Super Bowl history to not attempt a pass in the 4th quarter. Three, after that Super Bowl he went on to throw more INT's than TD's over the rest of his career. Vick, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah, what a joke.

You asked who the greatest QB's were, not who threw for the most yards. That does not make you the best. If that was the case why don't you just list the top ten yardage leaders of all time and call it a day?

Montana won 4 super bowls!!!! Favre won one and lost the other, which he was favored in I might add. I'm not saying Favre isn't good but he turns the ball over way too much. Montana was money when the game was on the line.

Vick is a joke. Randall Cunningham existed 20 years before him and could run and actually could throw, unlike Vick. Cunningham rushed for nearly 1,000 yards in 1990, threw for around 3,500 yards and had a 90 QB rating. He also led the highest scoring offense of all time (at that time) in 1998 with the Vikings. Vick couldn't shine Cunningham's shoes.

I didn't have Favre on there because two reasons

    1. I was really sticking to old school players.

    2. Brett Favre also has the record for most interceptions thrown.
