Lara, I found Father Francisco de Paula Sanchez referenced in an article about Jose Rizal.

Apparently he was Rizal's favorite teacher at the Ateneo de Manila.

This former professor led a great effort to secure the return of Rizal from exile (he was deported to Dapitan).
