If anti-matter was implemented as a weapon then that would be the most powerful weapon in the world. One ounce is equivalent to around 76 Hiroshima bombs combined. The most powerful weapon in the world would be the Tsar bomb. The Tsar bomb is so powerful you could see the flash of light from the explosion from 600 miles away and the shockwaves circled the earth 3 times. But actually the most powerful weapon in the world is us, humans. Without us all the weapons in the world wouldn't be here. We created those weapons and without us they would be nothing.

I would say hydrogen bomb for disintegration, those things can flatten a Mountain

nuclear bomb does massive damage that is long lasting because of the radiation staying there and going into lakes and rivers.

Cluster bombs are also nice for taking out large ground forces. I think 2 can be put on an F-16 and they can do massive damage. but as for power it doesnt stand a chance to a nuclear or hydrogen bomb

    Hello Jinx,

Why do you want to know? Are you trying to answer some school question for an essay?

If you wish to know the differences between bombs then you should research this at the local library through the encyclopedia and other sources you can find from authoritative books.

I don't think that any of us who are answering in Yahoo! Answers has that information and if we did we are not at liberty to discuss it.

A hydrogen bomb IS a nuclear bomb.

    Be well.

Tsar Bomb made by the USSR. 100 Megatons. So big even the Russians did not have the guts to test it. They settled for a test of a 50 Megaton version of it. And that was more destructive than even they had planned for.

    It is a Fission-fusion-fission bomb...Look it up.
