Why are republicans criticizing Obama on TARP and Automaker Bailouts when they were silent under Bush?

How did this all of a sudden become a problem to them under Obama when the EXACT same thing happened under Bush and they were SILENT?

Amazing how they rediscovered fiscal responsibility shortly after McCain lost the election. Perhaps all the fiscal conservatives were on a field trip to Pluto and just returned to the planet.

Please provide some evidence of your claim. There were a lot of Republicans who spoke out against President Bush's TARP.

With such a grave state that many on the left say the GOP is in, I find in amusing that the left needs to create lie after lie about the GOP. I can chalk it up to only one thing. Fear.

WOW, where have you been. Republicans nationwide were very opposed to Bush's bailout. In fact they were much more critical of it than the Dems were at the time. Bush sold us out to corporate socialism, many of us were pizzed.

You must have just woke-up, because you obviously were fast asleep back then. Most conservatives were irate over what Bush began, especially the auto industry bailout. Obama has taken it ten steps further by nationalizing the auto industry. This is Obama's baby now, totally his responsibility.

Bush didn't come up with that policy, the democrats did and forced him to sign it by letting Republicans add some good things to the bailout.

And yeah wouldn't it be even stupider to do it again after it didn't work the first time, good thing you pointed out how STUPID Obama is.

Though we already knew that, and now you do too.. right?

Or do you still not get it?

You must not have been listening. Many conservatives were criticizing Bush for bailing out the banks. BUT... once it was shown that it didn't help why in the hell did Obama do it again with five times more money? Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is the definition of insanity... Obama is insane.

You're asking for a rationalization of a party that specializes in hypocrisy and irrationality. :p There's no explaining their brood mentality other than they just have to antagonize in order to stay relevant.

For the same reason Dems aren't screaming about Afghanistan.

    It was their team.
