Bircham International University is a private independent institution of distance learning higher education that offers adult degree programs: Bachelor’s (B.B.A., B.S., B.A.), Master’s (M.B.A., M.S., M.A.), Doctorate (Ph.D.) and professional diplomas (Specialist & Expert) through full distance learning. BIU is registered in the USA (Delaware), the European Union (Spain) & the Commonwealth (Bahamas). Degree syllabus are completed entirely by correspondence. BIU will mail some textbooks and will require you to write reports as a way of evaluation. More information at BIU Web site: www.bircham.edu
BIU is a provider of non-formal or non-traditional education. Non-formal education programs do not follow the contents and requirements established by a Ministry of Education, thus BIU non-formal education programs cannot lead to degrees officially recognized by the Spain Ministry of Education. BIU is accredited, recognized or member of several international bodies and meets the quality standards of such organizations in different countries. None of these international bodies are recognized by CHEA USA (Council of Higher Education Accreditation). CHEA is the most relevant accreditation standards reference for the USA. More information at BIU Human Network: www.bircham.net
BIU degrees are valid for many purposes but not for all. Acceptance of students or graduates is always the prerogative of the receiving institution or employer. Because BIU is not accredited by a recognized accreditation body in the countries where it operates, its degrees and credits might not be acceptable to employers or other institutions, and use of degree titles may be restricted or illegal in some jurisdictions. For example, BIU degrees may not be used in some US States such Texas, Maine and Oregon.
