windows internet explorer 7 problem/windows problem?
for some reason, i went to this one site and it had all this pornographic stuff on it, so i left. then i turned my computer off then back on the next day, and i had all these antivirus system pro alerts saying "you computer is being attacked by an internet virus..." and then saying "do you want to block this attack" and i say no since i dont want to pay for it. i also have this spyware alert that keeps popping up.
the most annoying thing is that internet explorer keeps popping up by going to random porn sites and viagras site and i dont even click on internet explorer.
can someone please tell me how to fix this and/or telling me how i can get internet explorer off my computer?
thanks for all that help, but now i cant even sign on. it says "This system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shitdown was initiated by AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" and i cant even close that message. so what can i do to fix this problem to fix the last problem

You have spyware on your computer.
Do a scan of your computer and it will remove all suspicious and infected files on your computer. After
Download AVG : http://free.avg.com
This will keep your computer up to date and virus free.

When you went to those sites they installed cookies on your machine and the pop-ups began. You are going to have to clean some of those cookies off and maybe turn your pop-up blocker on. As far as the anti-virus alert, that is a virus of sorts. You need to find and clean that as well. If you haven't already run Disc Clean and Disc Defragmenter. Restart your computer. If that did not help then download Ccleaner and the free Version of Advanced System Care. You can get both from download.com. Run those two programs just be cautious as to what you delete.

Ok here's what you need to do:
**I'm assuming you can do this because you were able to post this question**
1. Download Spybot S&D from here:
- Click the Download now on the right side of the page
2. Install the program
3. Run the program
4. Press: Check for Problems
5. Once the scan is done make sure all the problems are selected then click: Fix selected problems.
This should fix everything and then some. If your still having some difficulties you could switch to a Firefox browser. http://www.firefox.com

ANSWER TO YOUR ADDED DETAIL
THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. THERE MIGHT NOT BE A FIX FOR THAT SO GO TO WWW.UBUNTU.COM AND THEN ORDER A LIVE CD. WHEN IT COMES PUT IT IN YOUR CD DRIVE AND RESTART YOUR PC. WHEN THE LIVE CD STARTS THEN BACKUP ALL YOUR FILES ONTO A USB OR AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. THEN YOU CAN REINSTALL WINDOWS. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND A VIDEO ON YOUTUBE - HOW TO REINSTALL WINDOWS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO. NOW YOUR ALL FIXED. RESTORE YOUR FILES AND APPLICATONS AND THATS IT. DONE!!

Delete all your cookies. (Internet Options)
