Does the united states postal service have today off?

    The USPS offices for the public will close at noon. However, mail delivery and collections will continue today. However, the collections may be done earlier, if the regular collection time is after noon. The USPS system will be closed tomorrow, the 4th of July, and Sunday, as usual.
