Nobody gave an answer as cold as mine,however ,correct. they all made their answers more romantic and mushy mushy.

    Actually the word happiness is derived from the word "hap" (from Old Norse "happ") and means good luck. So happiness is defined as luckiness.

    You gave the coldest answer, but it was incorrect. Emotions and sensations are rushes of the chemical called depomine. Endorphins, also knows as the "pleasure hormone" are partly responsible for pleasure.

    thats what we understand of happiness, you understand it as mere chemicals, others understand it as an emotion, a feeling,and even life
