answer my quetion about my ssd and ssi please?

i applied for ssi and ssd 5 years ago just got approved 6 months ago 860 is what i get on ssd i have 4 children they get nothing are they suppose to get anything i call ssd/ssi and they said the children get nothing is this true most everyone i talk to said they are suppose to get something is this true?

    Look, SSD isn't welfare. They're not required to support your kids, too. SSD is disability. That's all it's for.

    it is up to the father to support his kids, if he was on ssd it would pay them

    If you are receiving SSDI,your children should be getting dependent benefits.

    If you are receiving SSI,there are no dependent benefits.
