Must-see places in Taipei?

I'm actually Taiwanese, but I moved overseas and I only go back for New Years once every 3 years or so.

Anyway, I'm just thinking, the next time I go to Taipei where should I visit? I'm 15, so I'm more interested in, like, shopping/technology & teenager stuff lol

I've been to ... WuFenPu and XiLing NM.

Suggestions please :)

Taipei 101 is pretty cool to see, if you go up to the observation deck, but the shops there are really expensive (all designer labels like Prada and Gucci). But, across the street, almost, from 101 is a brand new store called New York, I think. When I went by last week they had lots of entertainment on the streets there.

Search out the department stores, if you want shopping. Not only are they fun and have funky things, but usually on the streets around them you can find cheaper things, plus lots of cell-phone places that sell unlocked phones. Look for a Sogo store, that's a great place to start!

I think it's called "Taipei Tower" or "Taipei 101" but it's this awesome 101 floor skyscraper modeled off bamboo.

I've only seen it in pictures and on TV, but my friends tell me it's fantastic
