should i buy a jeep wrangler with a Bad TPS ?
i found ajeep that seems like a good deal, and the guy is willing to fix the TPS before i buy it, but could there be a larger cause to the problems? or just a minor fix?

It's very common for the TPS to fail. Their cheap and easy to fix.
Mine went bad when my Jeep was only 2 years old. I got a replacement one for around $40.

Take it to an auto store, that is where I found out my TPS was bad. They just ran the diagnostic tests.

Have him first before payment replace the "throttle postion sensor" and test drive the car to see if the brakes are ok, and other related problems.
