Where are some good places to go in Washington D.C.?

I'm planning on going to D.C. for next spring break and I'm trying to make sure I've got all the places to go to. So far I know I want to go to:

The Smithsonian museums, the Holocaust Museum, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier/Arlington Cemetery, the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials as well as the Vietnam and WW2 monuments, and of course the White House. Any other suggestions?

    D.C. Zoo

    Spy Museum

Hard Rock Cafe D.C.* Great gift shop across street from it!

*If you have time I would suggest visiting Virginia Beach as well

Carry Light in the city. Hard to find lockers and you don't want to lose anything important!

You basically got it. I went last August and did all of what you are planning to do. I think those are great places to visit, especially if it's your first time going to D.C.

Just remember if you go to the Barnes & Noble downtown and need to use the restroom there, that you will need to get a "coin" from the upstairs barista to access the restroom.
