Cynic - I really do not think that any kind of issue can be made, one way or any other, out of "% of world population of Jews" killed in the Holocaust.
It must have been, in statistical terms, a small minority.

My feeling about the whole matter of the holocaust resolves itself not around the numbers, horrendous though they were, but around the fact that there were minds that were able to let those things happen.

Thanks, Bilbo, and I take your point. Yes, of course you are right. The numbers do matter, but it is still indicative of a particularly horrific state of humanity that allowed those things to happen, that so many were involved in perpetrating those horrors, and, yes, that so few were brought to justice for them.
