Can you help me solve this?

A book publisher pays $74,200.00 to prepare a book for publication. Total costs are $5.50 per book. If the book is sold to bookstores for $19.50 per copy, how many copies must be sold for the publisher to break even?

    $74,200.00 total cost / $5.50 cost per book = roughly 13491 books

    $74,200.00 total cost / $19.50 earned per book = a little more than 3805

So, the publisher needs to sell at least 3806 books out of the 13491 published to break even. That's a little more than 28% of the total published books.

5,300 because if it cost 5.50 per book to publish and you sale for 19.50 that mean you make a 14 dollar profit and you divided your total cost (74,200) buy your profit per book (14.00) and you get 5,300 books
