my xbox can play pirated games but will i still get banned from xbox live if i play an original game?
im confused
i live in indonesia and all the games they sell here are pirated hehe

That depends on how well your games were pirated.
There are ways to just pull the data off the game and then slap it onto a blank disc and it will play (on a modded system). But it is very likely that you will get banned from XBOX Live if you do it this way, as they can tell that it is a copy. The correct way to pirate a game involves downloading a little tool that will stealth patch your copy so that it looks just like any other legally purchased game to the powers that be looking over XBOX Live. So you pull the data off the original game (or download it). Then import the file into the stealth patch tool (Google is your friend when it comes to finding it....also, if you downloaded the file and it is already stealth patched it does not hurt it to run it through the tool, it will just tell you that it already is patched....so you have nothing to worry about there). Then burn to disc.
If by original game you mean original xbox game (like for the old XBOX) then it is safe to play if it was made as described above. If by original you mean a legally purchased REAL copy of the game...then it is ALWAYS safe to play it on XBOX Live.

It should not effect your ethnic orium on the xbox live container because on each game there is a small number written on the disc (you can not see this) that has the ID of the game. ETC. you should be fine.

No it wont get you banned.
...but you MUST update to the latest version if iXtreme firmware (currently 1.6) when it comes out to avoid detection on Xbox Live.

playing pirated games sholud not affect your xbox live content try changing your xbox live settings or try signing in again after you have exited the live content
