From a visit to historical monuments like the Qutub Minar, the Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, Tughlaqabad Fort, the Bahai Lotus Temple and India Gate, to a ride on the modern day Metro, a day in Delhi can be quite eventful.
You must visit the Walled City, located in the central district. Once there, the beautifully crafted Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of old Delhi, located on a busy central street buzzing with activity, is easy to find.
Your visit to this area won't be complete without a meal at the famous Karim's, which has perfected the art of Mughlai cuisine. You could also stroll down Paranthe Wali Gali in Chandni Chowk to sample the variety of parathas being served at the roadside. As evening rolls around, a visit to brightly-lit India Gate for the view and an ice cream is a must.
Delhi is also a shopper's delight. From an assortment of boutiques at Connaught Place to the quaint Dilli Haat, a handicraft market, the options are many. Try the Karol Bagh Market, Lajpat Nagar market or Sarojini Nagar market for everything from low priced electronics to shoes.
Evenings in Delhi are great for those who want to shake a leg and guzzle a few drinks. Urban Pind, a pub in Greater Kailash II, is a popular destination for its theme nights -- ladies' nights, expat nights, salsa nights and so on. Other options are the institutional Blues at Connaught Place and Bennigans at the Community Centre in Saket.
Delhi can be quite bewitching.

Delhi could be the capital city of India also called New Delhi and locally Dilli. Delhi is the main arrival point for international tourists and you can be one of that tourist; have a look with hotelbye . One of many places many visited in Delhi may be the Bahai Temple. This Temple is positioned atop the Kalkaji Hill and additionally it is referred to as "The Lotus Temple" because of its unique lotus shaped design in marble. Bahai Temple was built in 1987 by the supporters of Bahai faith. The Temple signifies the love and equality of all religions. Still another place to see in Delhi is Gandhi Smiriti. In that museum are shown: photos, statues, paintings, frescos, inscriptions on rocks and relics related to the decades Mahatma Gandhi used here. The meagre particular ramifications of Gandhiji too are cautiously preserved.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm with girl friend????? ;):) Well, when with your girl friend you need to spend quality time and outdoors will be rather risky. Lodhi Gardens will be a nice place or you can opt for the Indraprastha Park.
