In circle O, secants ABP and CDP meet at an external point P. If AP=8, CP=16, and DP=4, find BP.?

I really have no idea where to even start. I was told it is not a fraction, a ratio or not to set it up as a porportion. Then what do I do!

    CP x DP = AP x BP

    16 x 4 = 8 x BP
