The reason I bought the Sims 3 is because I bought a new computer that couldn't play the Sims 2 on it because it wasn't made for Macs. Also, I had a glitch that didn't let me choose hair, hats, clothes etc. Although the Sims 3 is a good game, the Sims 2 is far better. In the Sims 2, there are many more interactions than in Sims 3. For example, there are at least 5 different ways to kiss another Sim, but in the Sims 3 there's the Shy Kiss, Kiss and Make Out. And there are soooooo many more Romantic Interactions. And let's not forget chatting. You can change the subject whenever you want. There are many subjects to select, such as Fashion, Sports, Politics, Money and Travel. In the Sims 3, you can ask people to preform a task (such as cleaning up or washing dishes), Enthuse about something you like, or Complain about something you don't, and ask a Sim how they slept or if they took a bath how their bath was (am I the only one who thinks that's kind of creepy to ask that? How do you answer to that? "Hey how was your bath" "Oh it was very good the water was cold at first but I got used to it"). I loved the Sims 3 at first, but I've begun to realize that the Sims 2 is much better. There are a few things in TS3 that I like better than TS2, such as the open town, being able to tell your sims what to do when they are at work/school, having the Sims around you grow and change and being able to garden and buy ingredients for food. One thing I didn't like about TS2 are the ghosts. In TS3, you can interact with them, and it's kind of like they're still alive, but in the Sims 2, the ghosts kept scaring my sims and killing them and I had to leave the beautiful house I created. But in the Sims 2, the Sims look more realistic and have more emotions than The Sims 3. Also, in the Sims 2, the furniture descriptions in Buy Mode are funny and sarcastic while the ones in The Sims 3 are bland and dull.
Let's hope The Sims 4 will be better.
