Not true. In fact it was. The first case indeed came from a virus from the pig.

It just happened that this flu is efficient to transfer human to human, but inefficient from pigs to human. So the transfer only needed to happen once, and we are all in trouble. Right now even if you kill all the pigs you cannot stop it.

than how did the fisrt person infect the swine flu virus?

I saw this on the news. A Mexican boy was thought to be the source of this pig flu pandemic. He got it because he lived near a pig farm.
