I applaud your efforts and encourage you to keep up the good work! You seem to be on the right track, healthy diet and exercise. I hope you and your fiance see how you are improving your lives together by engaging in a more healthy lifestyle, go girl!
Tips and tricks: Balance is good. Everything in moderation. Your body needs all the nutrients food provides so try not to deny yourself the basics. A wieghtloss of ~2 pounds per week is healthy. If you plateu, don't be discouraged, just change your routine. Add more cardio as often as you can to help with endurance and heart health. Get a personal trainier for a few sessions to get a routine set up that utilizes your time and efforts to the max. Every little bit helps!
Don't worry about the dress, it is much easier to take it in than let it out!
Getting married 8/1/09. I'm a triathlete, personal trainer, private coach and endurance athlete. I personally have a hard time maintaining a healthy weight as an endurance athlete, more often than not I fall below my healthy range and have to struggle to gain weight. In all honesty, it is much easier to lose weight than to gain it!
