Can raw eggs with no salmonella cause food poisoning?

If I ate like two raw eggs mixed with heavy whipping cream [that's been left outside for a while] can I get sick? Even with the eggs don't have salmonella? [sick like vomit sick...]

How did you know the eggs weren't infected?? It's a definite possibility that eating the raw eggs with cream made you sick. Don't eat food that contains eggs, milk, cream, mayo that's been left out longer than 2 hrs - and surely don't eat raw eggs period! Most food poisonings are self-limiting, but if the vomiting and/or diarrhea continues for more than a couple of days without resolving, I'd go immediately to the dr.

there is no way of determining if the eggs have salmonella in them. but if u had them sitting out for awhile then you are taking a chance of them growing enough bacteria to make you sick. to be on the safe side of things, don't eat raw eggs.
