How do you find the area of a sector?
I forgot how to find the sector of a sector. Can you put it in steps please. Thanks

First find the angle of the sector, in radians or degrees.
Then figure out the fraction of either 360 degrees or 2 pi radians.
For example a 60 degree sector has fraction 1/6
Multiply that fraction by pi * r^2. (Area of the whole circle)

1. you take the area of the circle(pi * r^2)
2.you find the angle of the sector <x/360
3.you multiply <x/360 * pi * r^2
4. now your done go have some fun
