How do you find the area of a sector?

I forgot how to find the sector of a sector. Can you put it in steps please. Thanks

    First find the angle of the sector, in radians or degrees.

    Then figure out the fraction of either 360 degrees or 2 pi radians.

    For example a 60 degree sector has fraction 1/6

    Multiply that fraction by pi * r^2. (Area of the whole circle)

    1. you take the area of the circle(pi * r^2) find the angle of the sector <x/360 multiply <x/360 * pi * r^2
