Well, because I AM a therapist, I would be intrigued. But there have been times that I have experienced other people act strangely when they find out I'm a therapist / counselor. I get the funny little comments, especially from men who show an interest in me. The most common one is "Are you analyzing me? Do you think you need to do therapy on me?" I have developed a way to put men more at ease and get the awkwardness out of the way. I tell them, "Well, if I do therapy with you, I would have to charge you and then I could never have sex with you." That's usually the way to get a smile out of them and make any discomfort disappear.
And "Sexy," a seasoned counselor knows how to turn off the therapist when he or she goes home. I treat my friends like my friends, not like a client. So, no, what you said doesn't make sense to me.
