Train line from London to France and hotels?
Can some one please tell me how I would get from London to Paris, then Paris to Lourdes by train? Also what would be the most central hotel (not too expensive (i.e. <$120 p.n), but not too shabby) to the London-Paris train line, and all the main attractions in France (e.g. Lourdes, the Louvre, Versailles, Eiffel Tower etc.). Anything you can help me with would be greatly appreciated... I'm trying to help out my grandparents who will be travelling through Europe in July. : )

From London to Paris you catch the Eurostar: http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/_SvBoExpressBookin...
From Paris to Lourdes get the TGV fast train, this trip will take around 5 1/2 hours. You can book online at http://www.voyages-sncf.com or go to a travel agent.
Can't work out which city you want a hotel in, and what $s you're using US$ AU$?
Listing the main attractions in France will take a long time, there are so many and it also depends on how much time your grandparents have in France. You've only mentioned Lourdes (a pilgrimage town) and Paris. What else would your grandparents like to see? It might be worth buying them a guidebook to France, Lonely Planet has a good one, and getting them to list things that interest them.
For Lourdes, the tourist information website is http://www.lourdes-infotourisme.com/uk/, and it provides information on the Sanctuaries, accommodation, restaurants, and activities in the Lourdes region.Source(s): Regular visitor to France, especially Lourdes and Paris.

The hotel - Hotel de clement is so nice and cheap. It is in the saint germain area so it has wonderful food and markets and is in the middle of everything in Paris.
