Why must President Obama promise the Naval Academy Graduates that he will not send them to war without cause?
Could it be because the Bush Administration sent many to war without a cause. There were no WMDs.
In any case, President Obama is a real President.

Oh, please, that statement is right out of The Big Book Of Presidential Promises, used by every President since Johnson. Because Bush sent guys to war and changed there mission over there a couple times.
And Obama isn't weak, he's being intelligent in trying to regain the worlds respect that Bush lost. And America can't afford another war. Economy is bad, and the wars America is in now is too depleting.Source(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D8lj3dg5-o

This man can't even give a commencement ceremony speech without including political rhetoric in it. I feel sorry for the Navel student's who had to listen to that garbage rather than a more positive message sending them off. God bless.

Every president says the exact same thing.
Sorry, I think Obama's incompetence and string of failures says a lot more about him than mindless, political rhetoric.

An empty statement from an empty bucket. The comment makes no sense. This character has been elected U.S. president and he acts like a he is high school class president. A juvenile remark.

Maybe he should have added "unless I'm given faulty intel"
A "real" President doesn't make our country appear weak or enact policy that leaves the country in a vulnerable state.

US cannot get involved in any more wars. Finish the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and then attack North Korea and Iran.
