Will's Smith's 7 lbs movie?

Just rented the DVD, can't figure out why it's called 7 lbs.

The 7 pounds represents the "7 pounds of flesh" he must repay because he killed 7 people in the car crash. The quote is from a Shakespeare play called "The Merchant of Venice" I believe. Each death from the crash represents one pound of flesh that he must give back.

He repays his debt by giving his heart to Emily, his eyes to Ezra, his house to Connie, a kidney to George, his lung to Ben, 1/2 of his liver to Holly, and bone marrow to Nicholas.

    (Good movie, btw)

I'm not sure either but some movies have nothing to do with the title.
