If the drudge report is just links to news sites, why would Obama tell his people not to read it?

I've never seen that site before until now, but I don't see anything wrong with it, it's like a directory to news articles

Research by the media magazine Brill's Content in 1998 cast doubt on the accuracy of the majority of the 'exclusives' claimed by the Drudge Report. Of the 51 stories claimed as exclusives from January to September 1998, the magazine found 31 (61%) were actually exclusive stories. Of those, 32% were untrue, 36% were true and the remaining 32% were of debatable accuracy.

Matt Drudge's The Drudge Report is one of the best-known political news and gossip sites on the Internet.

That report is extremely one sided, to the point of trying to discredit democrats with lies.
