    Where do you begin????

Different land types eg flat, old continental land mass vs a land on the edge of 2 plates making it more mountainous, having earthquakes, volcanoes,

Australia is hotter having continental climate with NZ having an oceanic cooler/varied climate

different governments eg aus having state governments, laws, etc

diff populations eg 20million vs 4 million

different animals eg nz does not have any native land mammals (except bats), no snakes, crocodiles, poisonous spiders ( except katao)

different indigenous people ( origins, languages, culture)

different accents etc etc etc etc

Very much different countries, different histories, aborigines, laws, different demographics, similar culture. It's like saying what's the difference between the USA and Canada, or England and Ireland.
