    The largest or smallest is dependent upon how you define the terms. In total surface area, the endoplasmic reticulum could be considered the largest.

    A ribosome could be considered to be the smallest in size.

    Which cell are you talking about?

    The smallest cell organelle is the ribosome.

    Largest in eukaryotic cell is the nucleus.

    In non-nucleated animal cell it would be the mitochondria.

    Plants: can be either vacoule or chloroplast.

    Normally prokaryotic cells don't really have organelles.. But there are exceptions.

    smallest = vacoule

    largest = cell membrane / nucleus. nucleus makes more sense though.
