PTC tasting is dominant autosomal. The Hardy-Weinburg model says that there should be about 45.5% T and 54.5% t. How to find this number: take the number of individuals that are homozygous recessive (show the phenotype for the recessive trait), divide that by the total number in the sample, and square root that new number to get the frequency of the recessive trait. Then subtract that number from one to get the frequency of the dominant trait.
