is it safe to use a regular vacuum cleaner to dust off my pc?or a blower?

my pc is so dusty...i thnk i nid to clean it..can i use vacuum to do so?or a blower to dust off my pc?.......

not to mention that the vacuum and the blower are in a 1 machine...like my vacuum has a reverse job not just to suck but it has also to a blower(air out thingy)...

Update:

does the air can do damage some components of the pc?like hard disk..etc

    1.if u have open space not in the room, take out your PC unplug all the wire ( remember all connection)

    2. unscrew the PC, vacuum with spot tip attach in the hose.

    3.careful close near to electronic component

    4.main dusty area are cooling fan and power box.

    5.also clean your keyboard

    There are mini accessories you can get that make a regular vaccum perfect for cleaning electronics.

    I'm not sure about the blower...might blow dust places you don't want it. If you want to blow stuff anyway, use a can of aresol stuff, not the vac.

    hi i clean the dust out of my pc with a tooth bush and a regular vacuum cleaner...just make sure it is unpluged...

    Source(s): my pc would almost stop working when it got hot..had a lot of dust in it i clean the dust off the cpu cooller with a tooth bush and vacun it out goood it works like new...no carp try it...

    there are products available to clean keyboards and pcs. cans containing compressed air to blow dust and dirt out
