What are some nice hawaiian songs?
I was watching a Disney movie, and this song came up and it sounded nice. I figured maybe there's more nice sounding ones out there. Here's a link to what I listened to, and hopefully you can get my songs that are similar to something like that, instead of the typical hawaiian instrumental that you hear on commercials with the hot beach and sun. Thanks!
I just listened to "Lovely Hula Hands", and I don't like it. Again, I DON'T like the typical Hawaiian songs such as that, sorry.

Oooh, Lilo and Stitch!! :-D
You want the songs strictly sung in Hawaiian?
"'E Hihiwai"-Na Leo
"Henehene Kau Aka"-Israel Kamakawiwao'ole
"Hanohano Ka Lei Pikake"-Keali'i Raichel
Just for fun...
Non-Hawaiian Music
"I Knew It Was You"-Opihi Pickers
"Local Girl"-Keahiwai
You HAVE to check out Jake Shimabukuro. He does instrumentals but it's not the Hawaiian stuff (although he can do that do). He plays the ukulele.
Hope I helped!

There are three island singers famous for singing closer to the traditional Hawaiian style:
* Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - The most well-known internationally, now deceased. His songs have been used in a lot of commercials and movie soundtracks. Sings both traditional Hawaiian songs and hapa-haole island music. Here are a couple of Amazon samples of his work:

* Gabby Pahinui (also deceased!) is considered one of the greatest island singers who ever lived. His voice gives authenticity to the spirit of any traditional chant or song. It is very gravelly giving an earthy quality, you may or may not like it:

* Keali'i Reichel is the most famous island singer today. He frequently sings in Hawaiian. All songs are pretty much smooth, contemporary lyrical songs, although he does actual chants as well:
