How can I report illegal immigrants? Who should I contact in Ohio?
My condo association hired a contractor to fix the roof on our buildings. The contractor kept parking in my specified spot. I tried getting his employees to move his truck but none of them could speak English. I could never seem to locate the contractor. Anyway, i finally contacted the condo assocation and they got them to stop parking in specified spot. However, the next day roofing nails were placed all around each of my truck tires. I know the roofers that were hired did it. They knew I was upset over the parking situation. After trying to speak with them, I'm about 100% certain they are illegals. I tried to be nice, but these people don't seem to get it. I'm sorta afraid of more retaliation, but I'm also not going to let them get with this. Who should I call? I live in Columbus, Ohio.

TO REPORT AN ILLEGAL ALIEN OR CRIMINAL ALIEN RESIDENT contact the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division of the Department of Homeland Security by calling (866) DHS-2ICE to "report suspicious activity" (866) 347-2423.

To report suspicious activity to Immigration and Customs enforcement:
Toll free: 1-866-DHS-2-ICE
Also, you should check the licensing status of the contractor in your state. The Contractor will be also be required to carry insurance to cover any injuries to employee workers, which is often skipped for illegals.
At the very least you can make a complaint about the vandalism attempt with the contractors licensing board.

R u serious? THere are over 1 Million in CA alone. No DHS agent is going to worry about an illegal immigrant being in the US. The priority are the ones who committ a serious felony act while over here illegally. Unless you can prove that the person is drug dealing, murderer, or a gang member AND illegal, youre outta gas.

Do not call the police on people, it's a horribly cruel thing to do. Be the wiser more mature statesman, and you will be rewarded with an enlightened sense of humility. If you act vindictively you will only hurt yourself, as separating poor people from their families, or depriving them of their jobs is a very severe assault on their livelihood. Yes they acted childishly, but should you sink even below their level? If I were you, I'd sweep away the nails, and bring them a 6 pack of soda. Your problem will be gone, and your conscience will be clear, and they will have been taught a lesson in morality.

Sex offenders among illegal aliens are a higher percentage than sex offenders in the general population.
In 82% of the cases the victims were known to their attackers. "In those instances, the illegal immigrants typically gained access to the victims after having worked as a day laborer (such as a roofer) at or near the victims' homes," she says. "Victims ranged in age from 1 year old to 13 years old, with the average age being 6."Source(s): Deborah Schurman-Kauflin Ph.D. of the Violent Crimes Institute

You can disagree with me, but for a second put on their shoes, how do you feel?. Dude, call them illegal immigrants or not, but they got to eat too, they are just like me and you and are here to settle and earn a living just like you and everyone else. If not, they would be working in cartels, and all other illegal ways to make money if their reasons were to make money in short cuts and deceive other hard workers. The fact that they work in "legal jobs" and not doing any criminal activities should tell you that they simply want to earn a living like anybody else.
GOD BLESS THEM. If there anybody to report, it is the illegals who turn to gangs and deal drugs in your neighborhoods, people that YOU know are illegal but you fear them if you report, but you don't fear to report an unarmed poor Mexican trying to earn a living working for a legal and documented employer. Blame the employers, the contractors, etc.

Look in the phone book. You have decided they are illegal over a parking space, that is really funny.

You call the police to report the incident but you cannot assume they are illegal for the way they look. There are many legal people that live in the U.S. and don't speak English. Remember that if they get a lawyer, which they have the right to, the lawyer may accusse you of discrimination. Everything you are planning to do may work to your disadvantage.
If you call the police make sure to have enough evidence to punish the alleged "illegals."
