The Taliban does not have nuclear weapons yet.

Osama bin Laden has said that he wants to get nuclear weapons so that he can detonate them in Countries that he hates.

The most likely method of delivery would be to smuggle nuclear weapons into the target country in shipping containers.

There are several places where Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda could get nuclear weapons.

One place would be for the Taliban to capture nuclear weapons owned by Pakistan and transfer those nuclear weapons to Al Qaeda.

Another plane would be Iran if Iran is successful at enriching Uranium to weapons grade.

If you have weapons grade Uranium, it is easy to make a nuclear weapon if you do not blow yourself up in the process of assembling the nuclear weapon.

Another source would be to get their hands on some of the nuclear weapons that went missing when the former Soviet Union collapsed.

All they would have to do is smuggle those nuclear weapons in shipping containers.

At our ports we have radiation detectors to scan the shipping containers for radiation.

However they could also detonate the nuclear weapon on the ship as it approaches one of our ports.

For example, Osama bin Laden has said that one of his targets is the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

If bin Laden were to detonate a nuclear weapon on a ship as it approaches the port in San Francisco, he would take out the Golden Gate Bridge and much of San Francisco.

Of course the retaliation from The United States of America would be absolutely devastating, however the Radical Isalmists seem to have that as one of their goals.

They seem to think that the retaliation from The United States of America will make them all martyrs.

It is very important that we make certain that these creeps never get their hands on nuclear weapons.

Osama bin Laden is the head of al Qaeda, not the Taliban. They are two separate groups that have worked together in the past, and occasionally do still; but are two very distinctly different groups.

And neither al Qaeda nor the Taliban currently have nuclear weaponry. The Taliban has been moving in on Pakistan, who does have nuclear technology. But the Taliban have since retreated from Islamabad (Pakistan capital).

And generally, the one who makes nuclear weapons are nuclear scientists for a specific country; or the group in question steals them from a country that has them but may not have them secured.

Like from former Soviet Union states, for example.

They don't have nuclear weapons. They don't have missiles. They don't even have one airplane. Bin Laden is not the head of the Taliban. Some people are concerned they could get Nuclear weapons from Pakistan. Pakistan right now is not going to bomb the US.

The Taliban does not have any nukes, but if they overthrow the Pakistani government, that could well change. I don't think they have very many nukes, nor do they have the missiles and bombers to deliver them An attack of the U.S. would be suicide for them. It wouldn't do us any good either, if they could direct them properly. .

Osama bin Laden is the leader of al Qaeda. Mullah Omar is the leader of the Taliban.

Pakistan has nuclear weapons. They are not a threat to us. However, the Taliban wants to get their nuclear weapons. They will use them for terrorism.

They don't have them yet, however. But they could obtain them if we don't do something. Bush wasted our resources on Iraq to gain oil. Obama plans on going into Afghanistan to stop these insane terrorists.

Osama bin laden is part of al qaeda which is situated in Iraq. It has little to nothing to do with the Taliban which governs a large portion of Afghanistan. They are similar but not connected.

    The Taliban doesn't have nukes...yet.

    Give it time.

Bush gave Pakistan enough nuclear means to make their own 50-megatons of mushroom cloud fun.

Then he *ignored* that country's plight against the Taliban in favor of an unwinnable war in Iraq.

    In other words?

He took his eye off the ball.

Get real. There is one thing that Bush did while he was in the White House. That was to make sure our Military protected the Nukes in Pakistan, which Obama is carrying out the same orders.

    Yes they do.

We don't know where they may come from (Iran, Russia, China, N Korea)

Your last 2 questions are equivalent to #2 (Iran, Russia, China, N Korea)
