Yes and no. EU is becoming like a big country unto itself. Membership includes Ireland and they aren't in Europe.
The EU is interested if the Muslims will actually accept the conditions the EU asks of them, be independent of the terrorists, become democratic and allow equal rights. Since Israel is the only democratic country there, I do not see this possible.
What happened to the agreements made for Trans-Jordan being for Muslims and Israel for Jews as stated by the UN in 1948? Some should read "From Time Immemorial", excerpts are found on line.
As for the UN, it isn't acting or reacting like it was set up by the nations in the beginning. Perhaps the UN should move to Germany or Sweden and America quit paying for the tickets, rents and crimes committed by people from the UN and pull out. It makes no sense to have an organization that is bias or one-sided. It costs America and NYC millions each year. We could use the funds to help create jobs and homes for our own citizens.
See the site: "EU and Israel"--The legal basis for the EU’s relations with Israel is the EU-Israel Association Agreement which is there as a file.
