Is assisted suicide a sin?

If so, how did God get away with it? Jesus may not have killed himself directly, but an omniscient god would have known that the home boys on earth would have killed Jesus, thus he knowingly sent Jesus on a suicide mission. Since he is Jesus, it was assisted suicide.

So if someone holds a gun to my head and tells me to reject Christ or I will blow my brains out is it assisted suicide if I maintain my beliefs and chose not to reject Christ? Even though I know I will die, it doesn't make it suicide. It's still murder. The person who shot me will not be charged innocent because I didn't make the right choice. He will still be charged for murder. Jesus Christ was murdered the same as martyrs are. And He did it for us.

Jesus did not commit suicide. So where are you blaming god

If you are the true believer then go an ask that to the jews.

I think to view Jesus as committing suicide is an over simplification. He sacrificed his life to save others?

It is a very interesting question though. Is it a sin for a soldier to give his life to protect others. If someone you know is in great pain and suffering with no hope of a cure, is that a sin to assist them? How can condemning someone to pain and suffering, when you have the power to stop it, wrong?

Have you not heard? He conquered death and is alive and well. His sacrifice has reconciled us with God. He suffered so that we could have eternity in peace.

It's very clear that your mind is in darkness and controlled by darkness.

Repent and receive Jesus Christ into your life before it's to late.

By definition, everything God/Jesus does is righteous -- God means never having to say you're sorry...

If a soldier goes to war to defend you, do you call that assisted suicide?

Sorry, your argument holds no water.

Not in my eyes, no. If I am suffering and it is my decision, than it is my right.
