Is there a good fit/team out there that Allen Iverson can play for?

Allen Iverson is a great player, but the financial times will hurt a guy that is aging and had a very, very rough 2008-09 season.

One team, though, would love to have him (back) and welcome him (back) with open arms. The Philadelphia 76ers loved having Iverson in town for so long despite a few moments, but they could give him a full mid-level exception which might be the most he gets.

Charlotte could be interested in a big-time scorer and the Bobcats would likely be willing to let him play his game...but to a limit, and AI doesn't like limits.

    1. Philly

    2. Charlotte

    3. teams with some cap willing to take a risk...

where he is right now is not such a bad team Detroit is Great team and i love them but right after we lost a leadre like chancy billepus our team has truned upside down and having iverson is a great addition but since he injured we have to waite and see what he will do next year. Iverson cant play defensece that is the only problem we have with him because once he goes up to teams like boston,Cleavland and we need that defensece.

If he plays for one it should be a contender, so that way he would put forth an effort. Not sure how much he has left in the tank, but he may of tanked it some in Detroit with not the best attitude possibly. If I had to pick 1 team, I'd say the Spurs. Veteran team, could still make a run. Coming off the bench he could spell Manu and Parker. That could be beneficial to both of them, give AI and the Spurs one last run.

A good fit for him would be the bench and it does not matter what team! The guy is a great scorer but he does not make anyone around him better.
