What precautions can i take against Swine Flu?

I'm traveling to New York in about 10 days from the London, and I heard today that the Swine Flu outbreak has spread to NY, could anyone recommend precautions for me to take (ie a flu jab).

I wouldn't normally worry but i just really don't feel like dying any time soon.

It might be helpful to pick up some N95 masks. I don't know if you'll need them, but it isn't clear yet how rapidly this flu can spread. Things could be very different in 10 days. Make sure the masks you get are N95 - not surgical.

Also make sure you wash your hands often.

You have nothing to worry about. There is no vaccination at this time. It's a new strain never seen before.
