Can I hand wax out buff swirl marks on my black car?

wax doesnt remove swirl marks
it mide hide light ones, but not remove them
and clay doesnt remove swirl marks
it only removes dirt that is stuck to your paint that normal washing wont get out
pick up some meguiars swirlx
and some meguiars ultimate compound
along with some microfiber applicator pads and towels
first, try swirlx in a 16x16in section, use swirlx for 30-60 seconds in that section
wipe off, inspect, repeat if needed
if still bad, try ultimate compound
use it till good
then follow it with swirlx
this will take a while, but can all be done by hand
and wax made for specific colors,, are crap
they just use color fillers
so if you have a black car, the wax is black, so it fills in all scratches with the black wax, hiding them, not getting rid of them, and you WONT cause swirl marks by going in circles, you will ifyou use the wrong towels, but if you use microfiber, you can go in any direction you want..

First you need to stop the swirls from happening.
Clay bar will not remove swirls. It is for removing oxidization and contaminants from your finish.
Take the car to a detail shop and have it mechanically buffed.
Once the swirls are gone and next time you wash it use cold water with a quality car soap. When washing only wash in one direction, not in circles. Same as drying, wipe in one direction. To keep the swirls to a minimum in between washes use a "quick detailer" spray and wipe detailer. Finish first has the best, and is the only spray on that can be used in direct sun if necessary.
Stay away from mechanical car washes...Too harsh.

You can but it's hard work. You can buy an orbital buffer and some compound to remove swirl marks but if you're not careful, you can remove paint too. I used to have a black car and was able to remove swirl marks this way.

There is a compound that auto body shops use. I think it is clay and it gets swirls out. Meguires is a very good brand check them out. And like the other guy said that there is a compound especially for black cars

you may be able to and they make a wax for just black cars.
