關於醫學院選人的問題

我知道醫學院會依照你的MACT的分數和大學的GPA來選

但是還有哪些其他的標準?

另外是否從Community college 轉到其他的大學的學生就不可能被入取或是比較難入取?

Update:

忘了說明我指的是美國的醫學院.....

actually, you will have a higher chance getting in top schools from community college transfer

If i remember right, they still count in your gpa from CC along with your new college's gpa. You will most likely get a higher gpa in CC than somewhere like..UCLA.

However, you need to realize that competition is really tough.

For example, these are a couple of my friends' stats applying for med school:

    1.

    GPA 3.9

    MCAT 37

    U of Michigan

    2.

    GPA 3.9

    MCAT 42

Got into almost everything, Seattle, UPenn, UCSF, you name it

    3.

    GPA 3.8

    MCAT 37

    UCLA

My friends worked really hard and are top 5 % in their class, which is really tough considering that UCLA bio/chem is very cutthroat.

But if you have any other questions, you can find my contact info in my profile.
