I use to drive from Columbia County, Pa to Greenville (Upstate) South Carolina when I was in college. It was about a 650 mile trip and my car (26 MPG) burned about 25 gallons of gas. At the current price in my area ($2.05) it would cost around $50.00 to make the trip to Greenville. I'm guessing you will spend $50 to $60 to make the trip to North Charleston. It depends on the mileage your car gets, as well as the price of gas, which is usually much cheaper in the South.

Depends on the kind of car you have. Let's say your car gets 25mpg it would cost you about $60 each way for gas, assuming gas is about $2.15 per gallon. You can adjust this figure based on your cars mpg. It's about 650 miles.

Good luck, drive safely and watch out for the cops in NC!!
