Is blue poop healthy?

Normally, no. The child possibly ate crayons or some such. If it continues, go to the doctor, but it seems like something that will pass.

Some koolaids or candy can turn poo some pretty wild colors. I got a call from my daughter's Day Care once and the teacher said that she had bright green poo, turned out to be a fruit roll up she ate that morning.
If I recall, she also had blue poop one time from eating an entire carton of blue berries...it didn't kill her or anything, but it is probably an indication that she had a few too many blueberries.
I would say if the poop is any wierd colors, think back to what the child had eaten previously. If there isn't anything you can think of that would have caused that color to appear, it might be an indication that the child either ate something you were not aware of or something wierd is going on.

Sounds like he/she has been eating something with blue die in it. I wouldn't be too worried about what she already ate, unless the child is showing signs of being sick, as it seems to be passing through the childs system. You can usually see what a toddler ate reflected in their poo.
You need to watch the child at all the time, like a hawk on a caffeine trip. The moment you aren't looking, they will be eating something or getting into something dangerous.

Blue poop is usually cause by ingesting something like blue KoolAid or popsickles - it could be cause by green foods as well such as jello.

all kinds of food and drinks have dyes and have to be eliminated by the body. If my some drinks grape soda his poop will turn purple. Orange soda, orange poop. etc. The only color you DON'T want to see it black. Actually it is good to see it come out, it means his body is not absorbing it. !

my first thought is if its a kid, he/she has been eating play doh or crayons. or lots of blue kool aid, or something along those lines.
